Life of a Child
The Children's Ministry of First Baptist Church, DeRidder wants to partner with parents to help teach our kids how they can have a relationship with Jesus. Once they have that relationship, we want to help them learn that they grow by reading and studying God's Word daily, praying daily, serving others, and sharing Jesus with all their friends.
Ministry Activities:
- Sunday School : 9:00 a.m.
- Preschool Worship - Sundays @10:30: This is for ages 4 years old - k5
- Kids Worship -Sundays @10:30 a.m.: This is for children Kindergarten - 3rd grade & 4th - 6th. They attend the first part of the worship service with their parents, and are dismissed to Kids Worship during the offertory.

Extended Session: This is an extended teaching time for babies thru 3 year olds while their parents participate in Worship.

Bible Drill: 4:00 p.m. Bible Drill helps children in grades 4-6 develop Bible knowledge and skills, as well as, commit scriptures to memory. (Meets September-April)
- W.A.C. Worship Arts Children: Wednesday nights at 5:30p.m. Children 4 years old thru 6th grade participate in music activities. (Kick-off Wednesday, August 19 @ Jump City)
- Mission Friends, Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m (Late August - May)
Misson Friends - Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten
- Evening Worship: 6:30 p.m. - Nursery provided for infants - 3 years old
